We are a friendly Bed and Breakfast, offering a personal and comfortable space to rest, in a wonderful, recently renovated apartment of a canal house that was built in 1700. The building is called ‘In de Lely’ which is marked on the top of the house, and the canal is of course called ‘Leliegracht‘, which is one of the most beautiful, romantic and tranquil canals of Amsterdam. In front of the house, the Leliegracht offers a lovely calm and pleasant atmosphere, but within a couple of minutes’ quiet stroll you will find the Prinsengracht with the Anne Frank House, the Nine Little Streets (the ‘negen straatjes’) with their very special shops, the Westerkerk (a very beautiful and important church in the Netherlands, also well remembered for a number of royal weddings) and the liveliness of the highly recommended area the Jordaan with its cosy bars (also the famous brown cafés), restaurants from every corner of the world and a great variety of quaint shops. The many other sights of Amsterdam such as the famous museums, the Concertgebouw (a world-renowned concert hall) and the areas with a great variety of nightlife attractions (for instance Leidseplein, Rembrandtplein or the Red Light District) are either within easy walking or cycling distance, or just a short tram ride away. Of course there is also the possibility to find your way by the Amsterdam canals: the Amsterdam water taxi will take you directly to and from Bees Bed & Breakfast, but the Canal Bus also stops just around the corner on the Keizersgracht and on the Prinsengracht.

On the one hand, relax in the luxurious comfort of this beautiful historical canal house with all the tranquillity of the Leliegracht. On the other hand, enjoy all the liveliness of the Jordaan and the city centre at your fingertips within a few minutes!
